People, Vignettes, Technology, Cellphone and cellular, Connectivity, the film starts with a recognition that technology and cellular use has increased and has had a negative impact on our lives, requiring us to be always available, illustrating people being more connected yet disconnection still exists, negative consequences of technology, dark side of technology encouraging people to use technology to communicate and to connect and to come together, a woman swimming in a lake at night, we see her quietly standing there but we hear phone notifications, night swimming, a man running in a forest looks at his cell phone, people on a bus, a woman in her car in a meeting, business woman on a video chat in her car car parked at night on a rooftop with a woman video calling inside two friends meet for a coffee and one keeps checking her phone messages two women in a coffee shop, a man in a club looks across the crowd and sees the handles of people dancing a couple in an apartment, move around but don’t speak to each other living separately, a group of people all on their phones, phones melting in their hands a crowd of people all staring at phones, one woman looks up and warm light glows on her face, the mood changes and we see two women hugging and the two friends from in the coffee shop earlier, one texts the other one and she starts laughing, the man who was in the nightclub is suddenly surrounded by friends, we see a wedding celebration being watched on a screen, a pregnant woman lying next to her partner, touching skin soccer players voguing, a boy throws a cushion at a friend who’s on their phone, blowing out birthday candles, scenes of celebration and happiness and finally the couple from the apartment hugging
